We had a great stay in Meadowfields. It was a perfect base for our family of 6 adults. The house had everything we needed for our week stay. Plenty of seating, a great dining area, comfy beds, nice shower rooms, and it was lovely and clean. We had some great weather and enjoyed sitting out in the garden. The house is just a short 10 min walk into Whitby, down the little path opposite. Bus stop just up the road for Scarborough etc. Nice walks along the cinder path also close by.

Meadowfields is a great house, far more spacious than we anticipated and perfect for our group of 7. It is wellequipped, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Its only a short walk to the harbour and town up hill to come back though but we managed it even in the snow!, and within easy reach of many places to visit. We had a lovely time celebrating New Year here.

This was our second visit to this property and certainly wont be the last, as it is comfortable exceptionally well looked after and very close to all amenities in Whitby.

A lovely warm. bright and cosy cottage within easy walking distance of the centre of Whitby. It would have been helpful to have more than one dish washer tablet.

The accommodation was excellent. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. It had everything in it that was necessary and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch. We had a lovely time and would definitely come back again and recommend it.

What a lovely house. Grandkids were calling it home from day one. Such a good social space. Had a bbq in garden and all equipment was provided. Maybe need a few plastic plates and glasses for garden though.

It was brilliant cottage for having my mother in law to stay, who is on a wheel chair . Plenty of room . Great location . Would book again If I was to suggest anything to improve . Maybe one bedroom to have twin beds rather than 4 double bed as we had 3 couples and 2 teenage kids . Mother in law said wheelchair facilities are great . Her only comment was we brought a shower chair for her to sit on as one wasn't supplied and maybe a grab handle for the toilet to help getting up and down and the loo . Other than that. Perfect stay for the family to spend time together round the huge table . The open plan layout made it a very social space for us all .

Loved the property, clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. Great for a group of 4 women as all bedrooms were equal and two good shower rooms. Very close to Whitby, so didnt use the car for the 3 nights we stayed. Enjoyed a walk to Sandsend, fish and chips at The Magpie Cafe and a nice Italian at Cosa Nostra.

If this is a typical example of a holiday cottage it has won us over completely. From the second we arrived to the minute we unfortunately had to leave, we found the property absolutely perfect for our purposes. Immaculate and with many unexpected personal touches, Meadowfields gave us a great opportunity to get together with our daughters and grandchildren. Inside and out, it was great. Pretty sure we will be back.

A very comfortable & well presented property, furnished & equipped to a high standard. The property is spacious & airy with a nice garden. The only change we would suggest would be that it would be more versatile if one of the bedrooms was twin bedded rather than just double or twin. Beds were very comfy though.

Lovely quiet house. Just some bits on the cleaning side eg lamps. Loved the place so cosy but lots of space. Had everything and more that you required for your stay. Quick walk to town. Steep walk back but its a handy location with parking. We will be back as we loved the place. Thanks
